Mark Machin, president and CEO of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, has announced the following appointments.

  • Graeme Eadie has been named senior managing director and global head of Real Assets, a new investment department that brings together the Real Estate Investments department and the existing Infrastructure and Agriculture groups.
  • Shane Feeney has been named senior managing director and global head of Private Investments. In this role, Feeney will be responsible for CPPIB’s private investment activities and will report to Mark Machin.
  • Ryan Selwood has been named managing director and head of Direct Private Equity, and will be responsible for overseeing co-sponsorships and other direct private equity transactions.

All three will transition into their new roles effective immediately.

Machin has also announced that Mark Jenkins will be leaving CPPIB. Jenkins joined in 2008 and was most recently senior managing director and global head of Private Investments.
