The person behind anonymous Twitter account GS Elevator Gossip wants to write a book, reports New York Magazine.

@GSElevator claims to post snippets of actual conversations on Goldman Sachs elevators. The account has nearly 600,000 followers and more than 1,000 tweets.
New York Magazine says it has a copy of a book proposal by @GSElevator. The book would be called Straight to Hell: True Tales of Deviance and Excess in the World of Investment Banking.
The proposal was sent to a number of publishers, and drops some hints as to @GSElevator’s real-world identity. The writer claims to have “a distinguished and well-documented career in the world of fixed income.” He or she also claims to have worked in finance in New York, London and Hong Kong.

Some recent Tweets supposedly relaying actual conversations include: “My personality is 30% the last movie I watched,” and “Only Neanderthals resort to violence. I prefer crushing one’s spirit, hope or ego.”
There’s also “Don’t apologize for being late with a Starbucks latte in your hand.”
