Laura Paglia has joined Borden Ladner Gervais LLP as a partner of its corporate commercial litigation and arbitration group.

Paglia has been involved with securities litigation and regulatory matters for 17 years, and was a partner with the Toronto office of another major Canadian law firm before joining BLG. Along with her other role, she’ll be working with David Di Paolo as the regional co-leader of the Securities Litigation Group of the firm’s Toronto office.

Paglia “has been a leader in [the industry]…and has been involved in representing numerous market participants such as investment dealers, mutual fund and futures dealers,” says Jim Douglas, national leader of BLG’s securities litigation and regulatory group.
