This year’s Budget bill sought to alter “nearly 40 different pieces of legislation” when it was tabled last Friday, reports CBC News.

While new Finance Minister Joe Oliver has backed the 2014 Budget, the report adds, NDP party members felt the bill was too long and contained too many unrelated measures. Read more.
