Hackers have made off with personal information from 110 million Americans in the past 12 months, says CNN.
Some commonly hacked personal information includes the victim’s name, address, credit or debit card information, and passwords.

The large number of hacking cases comes as people are increasingly managing their lives with online tools. The data is there; and hackers are using sophisticated tools to access it.
Target, Adobe, eBay and Snapchat have all been hacked in recent months. While American customers have been hit hardest by these breaches, many Canadian users have been affected too.
