A group of retirees has launched a lawsuit against New Brunswick.

Turns out, the province allegedly made changes to its public sector pension plan, Pension Coalition NB, in December 2013 via legislation called An Act Respecting Public Service Pensions.

The retirees allege that by doing so, New Brunswick breached their rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Read more.
