On Friday, a hedge fund criticized Olive Garden for wasting money on items such as bread sticks and to-go containers in a 294-slide presentation.

And now, the restaurant’s parent company, Darden, has responded with its own presentation, reports Business Insider.

The collection of 24 slides, adds the outlet, was designed to respond to several points made last week by Starboard Value LP. Regarding the breadsticks, for example, Darden’s claimed the amount offered to diners inspires loyalty and “conveys Italian generosity.”
