It’s now possible to hack into computers that have never been hooked up to the internet, according to a Bloomberg report citing research conducted at Ben-Gurion University in Israel.

It may be years before it becomes a concern for anyone other than government employees trying to protect top-secret information, but the revelation is especially troubling in light of a recent EY report that Canadian firms aren’t increasing IT security budgets despite a more dangerous threat environment.
