Each month, IIROC publishes a list of the floating and tracking error margin rates for Canadian and U.S. index products. The list includes products whose indices qualify under the definition of an “index” in Dealer Member Rule 100.9(a)(xii).

As of November 30th, 2014 (and effective December 10, 2014, until replaced by a new list), the regulator highlighted the floating margin rates of a dozen major Canadian products, and of 11 U.S. products. It offered the current tracking error rates for an equal number (9) of both Canadian and American funds.
