Manulife Financial has appointed Paul Rooney COO and senior executive vice president as of January 1, 2013.
He will report directly to president and CEO Donald A. Guloien.
In his new role as COO, Rooney will have responsibility for Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Capital Solutions, Human Resources, Branding & Communications, Information Services, Procurement, and Global Resourcing.
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from The University of Western Ontario and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
