Saudi Arabian business tycoon and investor Alwaleed bin Talal has challenged Forbes 2013 rich list over regional bias, reports FT.com.

He has accused the publisher of using a flawed valuation method that disregards valuations on Middle Eastern stock exchanges while accepting those in other emerging markets.

Forbes ranked the Saudi prince at No 26, and estimated his wealth at $20 billion, while Talal insists his net worth is $29.6 billion which should place him among the 10 wealthiest people in the world.
