The BBC reports on a Le Monde investigation that allegedly reveals the French government has an ongoing surveillance program similar to the United States’ Prism operation.
“The data is stored on a supercomputer at the headquarters of the DGSE intelligence service,” the report says, adding French government officials have not commented on the allegations.
