National Bank has named the 2013 winners of its scholarship for women in financial markets.

It says $30,000 bursaries have been awarded to three students enrolled in finance-related graduate programs at Canadian universities.

The recipients are:

  • Maryse Duguay-Patenaude (pursuing a masters in financial engineering at HEC Montréal)
  • Shikha Jain (enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at York University)
  • Lauren Reid (pursuing the Master of Management of Innovation program at UofT)

In addition to the bursaries, each winner has been paired with personal mentors. They’ll also be coached by Susan Monteith, executive vice president of client strategy at National Bank.
