Investors should short Canadian banks and invest in U.S. financial institutions, says BCA Research in a recent blog post.

That post highlighted how housing market and banking sector performance across North America is correlated.

The company based its bank investment advice on the fact that “the Canadian housing market looks increasingly vulnerable, with record amounts of household sector debt,” while the American residential sector is “recovering briskly from depressed levels.” Read more.
