On average, Canadian workers are awarded 3.7 weeks of vacation time per year, while those who are self-employed take about four weeks off each year, finds a new poll.
The poll also says vacation time allotment varies by sector: government staffers receive 4.3 weeks; retail workers get 3.1 weeks, and farmers and lumberjacks are given 2.9 weeks.
