Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada has named five new vice-presidents to its senior management team. They are:

Bruce Williams, vice president of corporate strategy and development

Williams recently joined Standard Life to lead corporate development for Canadian initiatives. He has a background in strategic consulting, along with retail, commercial and wealth management banking at the national and international levels.

Anouk Hébert, vice president of group insurance and customer experience

Hébert is responsible for the delivery of health and absence management services across Canada. She joined Standard Life in 2000 and has served as associate vice president of Health and Absence Management.

Christiane Vachon, vice president of compliance

Vachon previously worked in private practice. She handled legal affairs, compliance, privacy and anti-money-laundering for financial institutions and securities dealers.

Ingrid Gendreau, vice president of legal affairs

Gendreau joined Standard Life as associate general counsel in 2009, and she specializes in contracts, reinsurance and real estate. She recently assumed additional responsibility for legal services related to products, litigation and claims.

Annie Pelchat, vice president of total rewards and HR ops

Pelchat is responsible for: compensation; pension; group benefits, including health and wellness initiatives; and payroll and human resources information systems. She joined Standard Life in 2010.
