The Ontario Securities Commission plans to host a roundtable to discuss the role of women on corporate boards and in senior management on October 16, 2013.

The roundtable will focus on the OSC’s Staff Consultation Paper 58-401, which highlights effective policies, practices and disclosure requirements that aim to help women in corporate environments. The roundtable discussion will help inform next steps on the initiative introduced in the paper.

The roundtable will take place from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. on the 22nd floor of the OSC’s offices, located at 20 Queen Street West in Toronto.

It will be hosted by: Howard Wetston, Chair and CEO of OSC; Maureen Jensen, executive director and CAO of OSC; and Mary Condon, vice-chair of OSC. The roundtable will also feature external panelists representing different stakeholder perspectives.
