Tom Palome, the 77-year-old former vice president of marketing for Oral-B, used to earn a six-figure salary. Now, when he should be enjoying his retirement, he’s working two part-time jobs to make ends meet, reports Bloomberg.

Palome’s story is like so many others approaching retirement. Although he paid off his mortgage and funded his kids’ college educations, he didn’t save enough for his golden years.

So he’s forced to work two jobs — one at Sam’s Club and one flipping burgers at a golf club grill — earning in one week what he used to in an hour.
