Sentry Investments has announced the appointment of Sandy McIntyre to the position of chief executive officer. He will also retain his current role as president of the company.

Driscoll, chairman and director of Sentry. “He has taken Sentry to new heights since he joined the company 12 years ago, including building our investment team to the point that it is recognized as one of the best in the industry. I have the utmost confidence that Sandy will lead us into continued growth and success.”

One of McIntyre’s first acts as CEO was to appoint Dennis Mitchell as chief investment officer. Mitchell will also continue in his role as senior portfolio manager. Mitchell is a three-time winner of the Brendan Wood International TopGun Portfolio Manager Award (2009, 2010, 2011) and was recognized in 2011 by Brendan Wood International as a TopGun Investment Mind in Worldwide Real Estate.
