Families are in focus at this year’s Distinguished Advisor Conference, with family wealth management at the top of the agenda.

Scheduled to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida, from November 14th to the 17th, the conference will feature 20 influential speakers who will take on many key issues facing advisors today.

“The times are new; they are tough, and for some, they are scary,” says Evelyn Jacks, president, The Knowledge Bureau, founder and host of this event. “The best advisors and their associated firms need to know how to navigate families towards their best possible financial outcomes, as the developed world continues to experience the effects of significant change including deleveraging, recession, unemployment, lower tax revenues, and persistent challenges to a family’s required investment returns.”

Some of the conference guests will include:

  • Robert Ironside, who will explain how the end of the “Debt SuperCycle” will impact the wealth of families and their current investment strategies.
  • Richard Croft on how flat investment returns and erosion of purchasing power will require new product solutions.
  • Gordon Pape on whether this is the right time to buy property, whether its in Canada, Florida or other retirement havens.

Early registration for the conference is now open with a discount offered until September 30.
