The OSC has banned Conrad Black from working as a director or officer of a public company, but is allowing him to trade securities.

The commission issued its ruling Feb. 26. It first started looking into Black’s Hollinger International business dealings, in 2005. The most recent round of hearings started in 2013.

Co-defendant John Boultbee is also banned from serving as an officer or director. While the two can still trade, they can’t be investment fund managers or promoters.
