什么是互惠基金

互惠基金本质上是指向愿意投资一篮子股票和债券的人所募集的资金池。 普通人从中得到的好处很明显:用1000元买谷歌公司的股票,您只能买到一、两股;但如果您把这1000元投进互惠基金,您就可和其他投资者共享一篮子投资的所有权。 这样能降低风险,因为您的投资组合更多元化。如果需要用钱,互惠基金变现也十分容易。但最重要的是,如果您是新手投资者或不愿花大量时间选股,互惠基金则可让专业的选股人员替您做投资决定。 主动管理与被动管理 互惠基金的管理方式基本分为两种:主动型和被动型。主动管理型基金的基金经理会选择回报较高的股票和其他投资工具,力图取得超过各类市场指数的业绩,如:标普/多伦多交易所(S&P/TSX)综合指数。 与此相反,被动管理型基金(即指数基金)则用计算机程序自动选择股票,是为了反映特定指数的表现。您可以把这类基金看作自动运转投资。 管理费 那么,为什么有人不要主动管理型基金,而选择被动管理型基金呢?很简单:因为管理费。 让一个团队的基金经理昼夜不停地辛劳工作,为一支基金选择应纳入的投资选项,这会产生成本—管理费用比率通常在1.5%到2.5%之间。管理费主要用于支付基金管理团队的薪水,还有研究开支和行政开支;但这会侵蚀基金的收益。 相比之下,指数型基金的费率较低,通常介于0.35% 到1%之间,因为不需要太多人为管理。 结论:如果一支主动管理型基金的长期业绩表现很出色,并且您认为这种趋势可以延续下去,那么支付额外的费用也是值得的。如果您仅仅只求分散风险,指数型互惠基金的成本则更低。 选择基金时,您需要考虑哪种类型的基金最适合您的投资期和人生阶段。
