Is your client starting their own business? Help them get a CRA business number next time you meet.
If your client registers her business in Ontario, B.C., Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Saskatchewan, she’ll automatically get a business number. If she’s in another province, you can help her register on CRA’s website, using her business’s name, the type of business (e.g. partnership), the name and SIN of all owners, directors, partners and offices, the business’s physical address and mailing address, and a description of its major business activity.
