So many are eyeing the fixed-income market. Despite the effects of low interest rates and returns, analysts have predicted fixed income products won’t lose their luster.

In fact, BlackRock reported that fixed income ETP flows were at an all time high of $68 billion through November 2012, 13% higher than the annual record set in 2009.

Experts say this is because they offer risk mitigation, diversification and security, which investors still covet as they slowly return to equities. Further, the growing popularity of fixed income has prompted some professionals to ask if they’ll constitute the next bubble.
