Earlier today, CBC predicted the following items might be on the finance minister’s agenda for Budget 2014.
1. Closing the Canada-U.S. price gap: Flaherty may introduce a drop in tariffs or import taxes.
2. Help for youth employment: There may be more money to help Canada’s youth find internships or apprenticeships.
3. More rules for charities: This item would target terrorist and organized crime groups, so they can’t use Canadian charities to launder money, says CBC. Read 3 more predictions.
