Industry veteran Robert J. Bogart has been appointed as senior vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO) of AGF Management Limited (AGF), the company announced today.

In his new role, Bogart will oversee the financial management and reporting of the AGF Group of Companies and lead the investor relations function. He is responsible for finance, corporate accounting, taxation and funds oversight and also serves on the AGF executive committee and the investments and products committee, among others.

Bogart brings with him an exceptional background in finance and extensive experience in the investment management industry.

His career portfolio includes 17 years working in various capacities in the U.S. and Canadian operations of Fidelity Investments, the most recent role being that of senior vice-president of finance, leading the corporate decision support group in Boston.
