The president and CEO of Alterna Savings and Credit Union, John Lahey, will retire at the end of December.
Lahey and the board of directors have appointed a committee to select its next leader.
“Lahey built a foundation for future growth, as well as a controlled, risk-managed environment,” says Duncan Munn, chair of the board of directors of Alterna.
Lahey has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, having also worked at CIBC in various high-level positions.
