The affordable single-family home in Vancouver is a dying relic, according to B.C.-based real estate marketer Bob Rennie.

Rennie spoke to members of the Urban Development Institute today, reports Macleans.ca, about his prediction that people will soon focus more on investing in Vancouver’s real estate than on being part of its communities due to climbing home prices.

He suggests, adds Maclean’s, that the city could make more room for families by “densifying” suburban zones that are full of large, high-priced houses most can’t afford. Read more.
