The Brandes Global Opportunities Fund has opened for business.

Brandes Investment Partners launched the fund to provide investors with access to worldwide equity market valuations. It aims to help your clients buy undervalued businesses from around the world, regardless of market capitalization or location, and promises access to both emerging and mature markets.

“The new fund provides exposure to company-specific opportunities in a flexible mandate,” says Carol Lynde, president of Brandes Canada.

Charles Brandes, founder and chair of Brandes LP’s, adds, “We’ve been investing in global for nearly 40 years and offer a depth of judgment based on cumulative experience.”

The investment committee overseeing the fund includes Charles Brandes; Ralph Birchmeier, director of investments; Ken Little, research director of investments; Brent Woods, managing director of investments; and Gerardo Zamorano, director of investments.

The committee members will be supported by 29 research analysts and 12 research associates.
