Warren Buffett had kind words for Jamie Dimon in the wake of the JPMorgan Chase CEO’s revelation he has throat cancer, reports FT.com.

“He handled it exactly right…. He is a first-class guy, and I think the world of him. It’s a material fact, so you get it out fast and you get it out accurately and if there is any big change…then you get that out there subsequently,” Buffett told FT.com.

The report notes Dimon modelled his announcement on Buffett’s letter to shareholders in 2012 in which he disclosed his prostate cancer diagnosis.
