Portfolio managers Colum McKinley, vice president of Canadian equities, and Suzann Pennington, head of Canadian equities, will take over his responsibilities. The bank says manager Craig Jerusalim will continue to all of his funds’ mandates.

McKinley will manage the CIBC Monthly Income Fund and Global Monthly Income Fund, as well as the Renaissance Monthly Income Fund. Pennington will manage the Renaissance Diversified Income Fund on an interim basis.

McKinley joined CIBC AM in 2010 and assumed a lead role as portfolio manager on the investment management team. Prior to this role, he was a portfolio manager at Sionna Investment Managers for five years.

Pennington is head of Canadian equities. She has 24 years of industry experience, and was senior vice-president of investments and team lead of the Saxon Funds at Mackenzie Financial Corp.

Jerusalim is portfolio manager on the Canadian equity team, having originally joined the company in August 2006 as a large cap analyst.
