The federal privacy commissioner is investigating the Canada Revenue Agency after it accidentally mailed out confidential taxpayer records to a woman in B.C., reports CBC.

The woman told CBC the package arrived at her home weeks ago, but says the CRA has failed to retrieve it. CBC reports the agency suggested she mail it back, but CRA didn’t attempt find out who she was.
