Desjardins Financial Security has announced the appointment of Denis Berthiaume to the position of chief operating officer. He succeeds Richard Fortier in this role, following Fortier’s announced retirement.

Berthiaume remains the senior vice-president and general manager, wealth management and life and health insurance, Desjardins Group.
