Empire Life has made two new appointments.
Erik Kalin is now vice-president and COO of retail, overseeing retail insurance and investments operations. He was previously vice-president of IT strategy and innovation.
Jonathan Hede joins Empire Life as vice-president of risk management, effective today. Hede is an experienced actuarial and risk management executive with an extensive background in the financial and insurance industries.
