Global Sustainability Signatories Index is a volatility-controlled equity index

Sustainalytics, a provider of environmental, social and corporate governance research, has launched the Global Sustainability Signatories Index 7.5% VC ER, or GSSI.

GSSI is a volatility-controlled equity index comprising up to 100 United Nations Global Compact signatories selected using Sustainalytics’ ESG ratings. Signatories must comply with 10 principles on human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

UBS is the exclusive provider of financial products referencing the index.

Also available through UBS is a sustainable development note linked to the index issued by the World Bank.
