ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe gathered net new assets 13% faster in the first seven months of 2015 than over the same period in 2014, says ETFGI. They’ve gathered US$48.4 billion in net new assets in 2015 so far, versus US$42.9 billion gathered in 2014.

As of the end of July 2015, the European ETF industry had 2,135 funds and 6,534 listings. Overall, the industry has assets of US$504 billion.

In July alone, European ETFs and ETPs gathered net inflows of US$8.4 billion, with equity products leading the way at US$6.9 billion. Fixed-income funds saw US$2.1 billion of inflows, while commodity funds experienced net outflows of US$1.1 billion.
