Level Global Investors managers are convicted of insider trading.
The co-founder of Level Global Investors, Anthony Chiasson, and former Diamondback Capital Management portfolio manager Todd Newman have been convicted of securities fraud, reports Bloomberg.
It says a New York federal jury found both were part of an insider-trading scheme that reaped more than $72 million. The jury said they make Dell Inc. and Nvidia Corp. trades using illicit tips.
