These days, U.S. employers are asking workers more often to fundraise and campaign for various causes, reports Reuters.

According to data compiled by the Business Industry Political Action Committee, says Reuters, the trend started following “a 2010 U.S. Supreme Court decision that allowed for unlimited political spending by corporations.”

Over the last five years, it adds, the data shows the number of companies engaged in urging worker to fundraise and promote policies has risen 45%. Read more.
