NEI Investments has launched the NEI Environmental Leaders Fund, which will be sub-advised by U.K.-based firm Impax Asset Management Limited.

The fund invests in expanding environmental markets across the globe–corporate leaders in these markets innovate across a range of areas, including in energy efficiency, renewable energy, water infrastructure, agriculture and waste management technologies and sustainable food. Impax will seek to find mispriced companies that will benefit from trends such as rising populations and wealth, and increases in resource demand.

“Policymakers around the world are recognizing the need to make substantial progress on environmental issues,” says Daniel Solomon, CIO of NEI Investments. “The imbalances between finite environmental resource supply and the demands of […] global growth are transforming industries and requiring companies to adapt.”
