NYSE Euronext has sold its stake in the Qatar Exchange to Qatar Holdings, Reuters reports.

The price has not been made public. Qatar Holdings is now the only owner of the exchange.

Qatar Holdings is part of the country’s sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority.

In partnership with the investment authority, NYSE Euronext bought a 20% stake in 2009 for $200 million, Reuters reports. In 2012, NYSE Euronext reduced its stake to 12%.

The plan was to develop the Qatar exchange into a world-class trading venue. NYSE and Qatar say their partnership goals have been achieved.
