Richardson GMP has announced the addition of four new advisors to its Montréal office, along with the hiring of Luc Papineau, appointing him director, wealth management and branch manager. With over the last 25 years of experience, Papineau has held senior management positions in the wealth management and the banking sectors.

“We welcome Luc to our team and are eager to get him engaged in his role as part of our strategic initiative to realize our growth momentum,” says Andrew Marsh, CEO, Richardson GMP. “Luc has built a solid reputation both as a leader and innovator and has a tremendous understanding of the Québec market. The experience he brings in building branches and supporting Investment Advisors to grow their practices will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence throughout Canada.”

Richardson GMP is currently focused on growth, with the stated goal of doubling its market share in Quebec over the coming three years. This growth will be guided by Papineau and Jean-Pierre Janson.

“We recently welcomed four new advisors, including Marc Dalpé, Jean-Marc Milette, Guylaine Raby (all formerly of Desjardins) and Luc Lortie along with their team members,” says Papineau. “In Montréal and across the Country, this firm is the leading alternative where Investment Advisors have a voice in the decision-making process—making it agile, flexible and bureaucracy-free.”
