Scotia Private Pools has made a portfolio advisor change to its Private U.S. Mid-Cap Value Pool, which is currently managed by 1832 Asset Management.

Effective May 1, 2014, Hahn Capital Management is scheduled to become the portfolio advisor for the pool.

Founded in 1988, Hahn is a privately owned firm based in San Francisco, California. It manages approximately US$ 1.1 billion in assets. It serves wealthy individuals and families, and public and corporate pension plans, among others.

The firm employs a manager selection process that leverages the research capabilities of investment management consultant NT Global Advisors, a Northern Trust Corporation affiliate.

There will be no change to the investment objective of the pool as a result of this portfolio advisor change.
