Americans investing in Canada’s medical marijuana industry have to be cautious, reports Reuters.

That’s because “marijuana [is] still illegal on a federal level in the United States, [which means] American investors in Canadian medical marijuana can be seen as violating the Controlled Substances Act, according to some U.S experts,” the news outlet adds.
