A technical glitch has caused thousands of Quebec taxpayers to receive a bill for the solidarity tax credit. In some cases, these bills have amounted to more than $500, reports Journal de Montreal.

Several Revenu Québec representatives maintain that only 39 of its customers are currently experiencing a problem.

Last year, 2.9 million taxpayers had access to the solidarity tax credit, for a total of $1.8 billion, reports Journal de Montreal. Read more.
