In June, Oracle Corp announced it will be moving to the NYSE from the Nasdaq.

The switch represents the largest-ever U.S. market transfer at $156.4 billion in market capitalization.

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc says Tesla Motors Inc will replace Oracle on the Nasdaq 100 stock list and the Nasdaq 100 Equal Weighted Index prior to market open July 15.

Tesla, manufacturer of electric luxury cars, is raising industry perceptions of its (currently) niche market. Tesla shares have nearly tripled this year, reports Reuters.
