Manulife Asset Management has announced the appointment of Jean-Francois Tessier as managing director, institutional sales, effective immediately.
Based in Montreal, he will be responsible for institutional sales and relationship management in Quebec, Ottawa and Eastern Canada.

Tessier joins the company from Natcan Investment Management where he had been vice-president for institutional services for the past six years. Previously, he worked at TAL Global Asset Management (now CIBC Asset Management).
