Franklin Templeton Investments plans to merge the Wellington West Franklin Templeton Balanced Retirement Income Fund into the Quotential Balanced Growth Portfolio, effective June 22, 2012. Unitholders of the terminating fund will receive Series A securities of the continuing fund on a dollar-for-dollar basis. All costs associated with the termination will be borne by Franklin Templeton.

Unable to finalize a plan for the GrowthWorks Canadian Fund, which stopped payments to investors last fall amid a cash crunch, regulators have extended the freeze until July 31, 2012.
