Quebec has announced it will introduce voluntary retirement savings plans (VRSPs), targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises and the self-employed. VRSPs will come into force on Jan. 1, 2013.

It appears American investors are keen for target date funds (TDFs), as nearly one in four 401(k) plan participants invest solely in TDFs, according to Vanguard’s Target-Date Fund Adoption in 2011 report.
